A small group met at Attenborough Nature Reserve, Nottingham and spent the morning visiting the various lakes. Attenborough is a beautiful complex of flooded former gravel pits and islands providing exceptional habitat for a wide range of wildlife. It is best known for its birds but on a very hot day in June, it was the dragonflies that were mainly captured by our cameras
The high temperatures resulted in some in the party deciding a morning visit was enough but the remaining attendees explored further and were rewarded with some more beautiful moments to capture.
